How can hypnotherapy help?

At the beginning of 2020 no one could have predicted what a tumultuous year it has become and there cannot be many of us who have not been affected by COVID-19 in one way or another. With sometimes confusing and conflicting media coverage and unclear instructions the pressure on us all has been greater than most of us can ever remember.

It will not be surprising then that this could have a negative effect on our mental health which in turn effects our physical well-being.

Hypnotherapy is the perfect solution for this imbalance in normal life by underpinning the foundations of normality and giving the individual the confidence to return to post Coronavirus life with increased confidence and both mental and physical strength.

Discussion within therapy and health fields are recognising the following as areas of concern, all of which can be helped with hypnotherapy:

  • Anxiety
  • Isolation
  • Family and relationship issues
  • Weight gain
  • Increase in alcohol, tobacco smoking or drug usage
  • Employment worries or financial strain
  • Flare ups of chronic physical or mental health conditions
  • Development or increase in severity of phobias

Hypnotherapy is perfectly situated to help in these uniquely challenging times. Whether you have experienced the virus first-hand or are needing support emotionally as we head out of lock-down I can plan and deliver sessions based on your specific needs.

Working together we can aim to make you feel calmer, more in control and able to cope with the current situation. We may also use suggestion to improve your immune system and feel more physically capable and confident.

Finally, it is always worth remembering that although we may not be able to change events, what we can do is to change our reaction to events and that is what can make the difference.
